Just my unfinished layout. A part of what keeps this hobby evolving is the ability to make changes as circumstances arise! I explain what is taking place within the video so i wont get into that here. Although I do apologize for using the term "wishbone" to describe the inner section of the layout. It is in reality a folded "dog bone " if that helps make more visual sense. And sorry there has been no updates on progress with the new layout. Of course, NOW, after building the new benchwork, my daughter informed me that she is moving out for college to fulfill her dream, of becoming a veterinarian! Don't get me wrong, I am a proud Poppa :) But I now have a much larger 10 x 10 ft room to start again if I so choose. So, everything is up in the air, so to speak! I need to decide what to do? Finish what I have started as I do like the layout plan I have? Or do I move things into the larger area and plan anew? Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards the new larger space, but will have then abandoned two layouts in two years or so :( Plz let me know what you think? Wish me luck lol
Update 1/30/22... Okay again, planning anew as can be assumed from the videos. The new room was vacated by my youngest son who has joined the Navy. Something he has worked towards for many years in ROTC. So again, i have abandoned yet another layout for the larger, roughly 11ft x 12ft room now available and for which the plans in the video are made for.
