1️⃣ BRĒZ - A tonic microdosed with cannabis & mushrooms. They have nailed the futuristic and trippy branding that fits the product they’re selling.

2️⃣ Athletic Brewing - The OG in the space selling non alcoholic beer in a variety of styles. And just raised $50M to expand even more.

3️⃣ CANN - A seltzer microdosed with cannabis that comes in several flavors. And they really lean into the humorous, provocative branding that consumers in this space would be drawn to.

4️⃣ Recess - Mood lifting seltzers and a variety of mocktails. More appealing to those that may not want to microdose something, but still want a social stimulant.

5️⃣ Kin - A euphoric functional beverage that uses adaptogens, nootropics, and botanics. And again, really cool branding here that fits the product they’re selling.

There is a movement of people ditching the hangover inducing drinks and instead reaching for these “social tonics” that provide stimulation in their own way.

The space right now reminds me a lot of the hard seltzer movement that took over years ago.
