Mega CD : After Armageddon Gaiden ~ Majuu Toushouden Eclipse (JPN)

After Armageddon Gaiden: Majuu Toushouden Eclipse (アフターハルマゲドン外伝 魔獣闘将伝エクリプス) is a turn based RPG that developed by Pandora Box and published by Sega back in 1994, exclusively for the Sega Mega CD add-on system and the Japanese market.

The story takes place in a world named Eclipse where demon-like creatures are the dominant race. Humans exist only to serve them as...livestock, raised only for consumption. The player controls a party of five monsters whose goal is to stop/kill the demon God , Ra~Mu, who is responsible for the world's anomalies and apocalyptic state.

After Armageddon Gaiden is an old school RPG, spin off to the Last Armageddon (check ARV's NES gameplay video here :    • NES/Famicom : Last Armageddon (JPN)   ) and for the most part, is quite similar to the previous release. What is new here (and quite interesting) is that the game lets you adjust the combat frequency from the menu whenever you’d like. Other than that, the fans of the Last Armageddon will feel like home.
In 1995 there was a release plan for the USA market ~ Working Design as publisher~ but unfortunately, the declined Sega Mega CD sales and the release of the "new" Sega Saturn system, made Sega and Pandora Box to change their minds.

It's not import friendly game. You need to have a basic understanding of the Japanese language.
