Do THIS in Idaho! | Mountain Village Hot Springs + Bayhorse Ghost Town - Stanley, Idaho

Wondering what you need to do in Idaho? Look no further! If there was one state that completely blew us away on our US road trip, it was EASILY Idaho! There's so much to do and see throughout the whole state, but we focused on the south-central area, starting in Challis, a very small town with tons of charm and some amazing coffee. We headed towards Stanley, where we were staying for the next couple days at Mountain Village Resort, which has their own hot springs! Our first stop of the day was Bayhorse Ghost Town, which used to be a thriving mining community in the 1800's. We didn't find any ghosts, but did find plenty of history! This was so cool to walk around and explore and get a glimpse of what life was like back then. After the ghost town, we drove the rest of the way towards Stanley. After a quick stop at the only grocery store in town, we ate our picnic dinner at Redfish Lake - one of the most peaceful places we've visited! After dinner, it was finally time for our time-slot at the hot springs. We stayed at Mountain Village Resort in Stanley, and they have hot springs on site that are pretty popular. This year however, you could only visit them if you were staying at the resort itself, and we were lucky to be able to stay there and take advantage of these amazing springs!
