The world lost Dr. Ralph Stanley 5 years ago today. When I heard about this performance at Bonnaroo I was humbled beyond words. My grandmama introduced me to the Stanley Brothers as a young boy and when he agreed to sing on “Me And God,” I remember wishing she had been here to share it with me. Dr. Ralph you are greatly missed.
