How To Clean & Oil Your Grandfather Clock PART 1

Welcome to My Bench Jeweler. Today we are going to take a close look at cleaning your Grandfather Clock. Couple Errors Its DW40 Oil also I'm not sure if Empire Clock kits used Hermle movements. There are so many different clocks but most of them clean and is oiled the same way. Some clocks you can oil in the case by removing the front dial and opening the back. Others you will have to remove the Grandfather clock movement from the case as you will see in this video. Let's get started by watching the videos. You will need to purchase a few items see below.
You will need the following
1. Quality Clock Oil: Use our Clock Oiling Kit. Ordering Link Below.
2. A pair of pliers
3. Some rags and old towel or newspaper will work fine
4. Cleaner form auto parts store. CRC QD Electronic Cleaner
