A year after going to his first ever Steam Gala at the South Devon Railway, Matt returned to complete the railway gala season with the 2026 Winter Steam Gala.

In completely different conditions compared to the 2025 event, the gala was a steaming success with one steam locomotive in particular standing out as the star of the gala.
