The Texas Desert Brigade is deployed by the Free States Army (West Command) to assault the besieged Federal City of El Paso, Texas. However upon arriving with other units, the Brigade found the city abandoned by Federal forces. Although the civilian population remained. El Paso itself, continued to support the Federalist cause while under occupation, and the city's inhabitants would start a series of protests and riots across the city. The Texas Desert Brigade began Riot Control operations. However with them largely being a volunteer force with no real crowd control training, the Brigade got restless and after three days of riots, the Brigade was fed up. They went on a week long rampage of the city, and only ceased "Counter-Insurgent Operations" after a series of Artillery Units threatened to shell their positions. Two days following the event, the Brigade was disbanded. It's Commanders put on trial and it's troops dispersed between several rear guard divisions.
