Many people always wonder if they should pay monthly for an eBay Shop Subscription or if they should stay as a private seller?

I have been selling on eBay for years and in this video I breakdown my Journey of going from being a private eBay seller to a business eBay seller, and then eventually signing up for a monthly eBay shop subscription.

I believe that if you are selling one of items on eBay, it is better for you to be a private seller, as this option is made for people that are not necessarily running an eBay business or a eBay store. So in my eBay journey I initially started off as a private seller, this is when I was selling the used items around my house. I don't progress to switching over to an eBay business account, the reason why I did this is because legally speaking you need to make sure that you register as a business on eBay if you plan on building a business long-term.

Once I was getting a decent amount of profit from my eBay business, I switched over to the basic eBay shop subscription, I use this for a few years and then I switched over to the featured eBay shop subscription, this is because I had more room to manoeuvre in terms of the eBay listings I was allowed to use I believe that the featured eBay shop is good for me but you need to look at your own personal circumstance and decide on if the basic eBay shop is good for you.
