Tom Sanders guitarist for The Hornets is one of the founders of the Connecticut Blues Society and the band was the 1st winner of the CTBS Blues Challenge who sent the band down to Memphis, TN to compete against the worlds' best Blues Bands at the International Blues Challenge sponsored by the Blues Foundation.
