More than a month since the abduction of Dexter Capuyan, an Igorot from the Bontoc-Ibaloi-Kankanaey tribe of the Cordillera, and Gene Roz Jamil "Bazoo" De Jesus, Philippine Task Force for Indigenous Peoples' Rights - TFIP staff, we continue our calls to #SurfaceDexterAndBazoo and hold the perpetrators of the incident accountable.

Dittz remembers Bazoo as a smart, kind, and peace-loving son who was once a student leader at the University of the Philippines Baguio. He joined the Philippine Task Force on Indigenous Peoples Rights as a staff and dedicated his life to defending the rights and welfare of Indigenous Peoples.

Meanwhile, Eli describes Dexter as someone who
always lends his arms to help others. As his older
brother, Eli recounted the days when Dexter served as his guidance. Eli also opposed the allegations used by state forces against his brother.

Dittz and Eli share their stories with the hope that the two will be returned to them alive and unharmed. They also appeal to the public to support their cause and join them in calling for justice and accountability. They say that they will not stop until they see Dexter and Bazoo again.
