Here is Ed, the alpha male badger, looking rather plump!

We don't see much of them now, just the odd visit every now and again. They will become more rare as we get deeper into winter. This is when the extra fat reserves come into play, hence why they are biggest at this time of year.

You have just found a clip from UKWildlifeCam! Our channel is a video diary of sorts, from an IP camera in a small yard and paddock in Somerset, England.

Our videos are in date order (we are quite behind at the moment!), and simply show the wonderful creatures that visit us (usually) at night.

This all started by accident. We feed the birds, and discovered, by chance, a badger feeding on the waste on the floor one night. This led us to wonder what else might be around, so we bought a camera, and have been absolutely amazed by what we have seen.

We put scraps of food out, and peanuts, and then sit back and see who decides to visit! Please subscribe if you want to see what happens :)
