Beginning in the Old Faithful area, we'll make our way past many well known geysers and hot springs, including Castle Geyser, Daisy Geyser, Riverside Geyser, Grotto Geyser, Giant Geyser, Spa Geyser and Morning Glory Pool. We'll then take either the Daisy Geyser Trail or the Artemisia Trail towards Mystic Falls. Whichever of those two trails we don't traverse on the way to Mystic Falls, we'll do on the way back.

There are two trailheads to Mystic Falls, and as before, we'll do one on the way there and the other on the return trip. One route keeps us in the backcountry, while the other enables us to experience the beauties of Biscuit Basin before leaving the crowds behind again.

After hiking through a forest, we'll pick up the Little Firehole River towards Mystic Falls, where we'll wander around for a while, before making our way back.
