Baltimore City leaders quiet after 12 people shot, one fatally this weekend

At least a dozen people were shot across Baltimore over the weekend. One of those 12 victims was killed.

The weekend violence began Friday night when a 19-year-old was found shot on Cecil Avenue in east Baltimore.

Then, on Saturday six people were shot in five separate shootings.

One of those shootings turned into a homicide.

At approximately 4:05 a.m., officers were called to the 2100 block of Preston Street after reports of a person lying unresponsive in the street.
