We take a trip to Hominy Ridge Lake located near Lagro Indiana, where I demonstrate how to cataclysmically "BUSH" your bait casting set up beyond recognition! As of April 16 2019, the weather had been inconsistent through the month to determine whether the bass had begun bedding; so we just take a chance and put some knowledge to work in our 1st official day out looking for BASS! Remembering having learned the north end of a body of water warms first in the spring, I put that theory to test only to find that it's TRUE and it works!

This lake is a small, electric motors only lake located inside the Salamonie River State Forest slightly south of Lagro Indiana that offers camping, fishing, horseback trails and much more! The Salamonie Reservoir is located just to the east of Hominy Ridge lake with access to the reservoir's dam and tail waters.
