The Cape Breton style, more than others, relies on the piano/fiddle combination. And like many Cape Breton fiddlers, Kolten and Ashley are comfortable on both instruments (and comfortable enough to carry a conversation while playing…!)
Noteworthy that Ashley is often doubling the melody on piano, rather than the usual rhythmic chording.
