Seven Spanish Angels was written by Eddie Setser and Troy Seal and was released in 1984 by Ray Charles on the Friends album. The song was a #1 hit and spent 12 weeks on the country charts. The original key of the song is in the key of F and this is a good song to learn how to use barre chords and understand chords changes. Seven Spanish Angels start out in the key of F for the first couple of verses and choruses and then moves up a half step to the key of F# where the song remains and finishes out.
