Great wineries and Vineyards in Willamette Valley

Although I’m admittedly a huge fan of visiting tasting rooms there remains something special about sampling wines at the winery.

Compris Winery in Newberg has a beautiful view and a relaxed feel. Get their winemaker Dr. David Bellows to tell you his amazing journey to becoming a winemaker.

Soter Tasting room has great heavy hors d'oeuvres to go along with a panoramic view. Although all the wines are well done, I recommend the sparkling.

Bergström Tasting Room is an event with wine and food pairings in a beautiful house converted to intimate tasting rooms. Make sure you walk around the house to see all the landscaping; multiple photo opportunities that should not be missed.

Beaux Freres Winery offers a non-pretentious tasting room with a winemaker’s feel to it. Talk to the knowledgeable staff and taste a flight of Pinot or Chardonnay, you never know who might show up.

There is just so much wine to experience in Willamette Valley.
