4. Remove the clutch pressure plate: Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts that secure the clutch pressure plate to the clutch hub. Once the bolts are removed, carefully lift off the pressure plate and set it aside.

5. Remove the old friction plates: Take note of the order and orientation of the old friction plates. Use a clutch holding tool to prevent the clutch hub from rotating, and a clutch spring compressor tool to compress the clutch springs. Remove the clutch springs, then remove the old friction plates one by one.

6. Install the new friction plates: Install the new friction plates in the same order and orientation as the old ones. Make sure they are properly aligned with the clutch hub and alternating with the steel plates if applicable.

7. Reassemble the clutch: Reinstall the clutch springs using the clutch spring compressor tool. Make sure the springs are evenly compressed. Install the clutch pressure plate and secure it with the bolts. Torque the bolts to the specifications in your service manual.
