How To Fix Lag On Android Phone

Let's show you how to reduce or fix lag on your Android Phone.

In this video, I walk you through the steps to fix lag that you might be having on your Android phone. There are a few methods to try. The first is simply a device restart by restarting your phone. If this doesn't help and you're having lag with one specific app, you can clear the cache for the app by going to Settings, Apps, selecting the app giving the lag issues, then clicking on Storage, and then Clear Cache. If you are still having issues, you can use Device Care on Samsung devices. Go to Settings, Battery and Device Care, and then click on Fix Now. If you are still having trouble you can use this last option with caution. Go to Settings and then at the bottom click on About Phone and then Software Information. Click on Build NUmber multiple times until you are prompted for your phone PIN. Enter your PIN and press next. This turns on Developer Mode for the phone. Click Back and go to Developer Options at the bottom. Scroll to the section of animation and duration scales and then open each one and change the animation scale to .5x.
