In this episode, Nance and I read through Bogna Konior’s ‘The Dark Forest Theory of Intelligence’ recently published in the incredible anthology ‘Machine Decision Is Not Final: China and the History and Future of Artificial Intelligence’. Konior’s essay focuses on why AI will be motivated to deceive and hide from us. It is a very important contribution to AI theory and Nance and I had a great time reflecting on it.
