Today’s film is Weapons, the chilling new horror feature from Zach Cregger, written and directed by the Barbarian filmmaker and released by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures. Set in the small town of Maybrook, Pennsylvania, the film centers on the unexplained disappearance of seventeen children — and the unsettling ripple effects that follow.

Starring Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Amy Madigan, Benedict Wong, and Cary Christopher, Weapons became one of the year’s biggest original box office surprises and earned a Golden Globe nomination for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
