US and Asian stocks slipped on growth concerns, while the yen strengthened after a Bank of Japan member hinted at more rate hikes. US CPI came in hotter then expected with core inflation inching up. Wall Street managed to end in the green mid a choppy session thanks to a late surge in tech shares.
