2009 San Angelo ISD Back-to-School Convocation ceremony featuring performances by combined Central and Lake View High School bands, choirs, and orchestras and presentation by keynote speaker Keni Thomas. Thomas was a member of Task Force Ranger as a part of Operation Restore Hope in Somalia where he was involved in the Battle of Mogadishu that was later immortalized in the book and movie Black Hawk Down. Drawing from his experiences on the battlefield, Keni inspires people to achieve greatness by stressing the importance of outstanding leadership at every level.
