Dementia is a progressive brain disorder that hinders a person's memory, thinking, and behavior. The most common cause of dementia is Alzheimer's disease.

It has no cure and there are no treatments to stop or reverse any symptoms of the disease. However, there are treatments to help with the symptoms such as medication and counseling.
