Cameras with XLR inputs are as you can capture great quality audio from professional microphones, and when combined with the awesome ATEM Mini that means you can send video and audio from up to 4 cameras into your streams. However you may find that by default the audio from each microphone is only mono - it's just Left or Right channel. You want it across both channels because otherwise your viewers will only hear that mic in one side of their headphones or speakers. Fortunately Blackmagic Design have made it very easy to split the audio from each mic into Dual Mono - very easy that is if you know where to look in the ATEM Software Control! In this short clip I show you exactly how to make the change and you'll be all set.
