Demand for air travel is set to take off as more countries ease COVID-19 measures. The aviation industry has been looking at how to make travel more sustainable, while keeping an eye on high fuel prices. The International Air Transport Association said over 45 airlines are now looking at sustainable aviation fuel. Singapore Airlines will start a one-year trial with sustainable jet fuel from 3Q2022. Professor Guido Gianasso, a former IATA executive committee member, shared more about the costs and usage of sustainable aviation fuel.
