BELL: We have got to make this county not just somewhat more business friendly, we need to be known for it. We're known for telling people how not to do things.
BOFF: And somehow we existed.
BELL: Yeah, but how much better could we have been, Jim?
AMOS: Well, I don't think it could have been much better. We couldn't have grown much faster.
BELL: I don't know. How much sales tax did we lose because we argued about some shrubs in front of a car dealer for six months.
BOFF: Not as I understand it. That was a turf war with another car dealership.
BELL: It was a turf war because it was delayed too long.
BOFF: That's your opinion.
BELL: It's fact.
BOFF: No, it's your opinion.
BELL: No, it's not opinion, it's fact.
TAM: Well, why are they going in over there
BELL: It's a fact!
TAM: on Highway
BOFF: Why are we
BELL: We still have two years - three years
BOFF: You saying it's a fact doesn't make it a fact.
BELL: It's a fact! I'm telling you it's a fact!
LEVENT: Hey
BOFF: You can tell him it's a fact and it still doesn't make it a fact.
BELL: You're an idiot because you don't want to accept it
LEVENT: Alright
BELL: but I know
AMOS: Patrick
BOFF: Why don't you grow up?
BELL: I talked to them.
BOFF: Why don't you grow up?
BELL: I had talked to them.
BOFF: Now you know why nobody voted for you
LEVENT: Sigh.
BELL: It doesn't have anything to do with that.
BOFF: It does. Nobody wants you in office.
BELL: Well, that doesn't matter.
BOFF: Yeah, it does matter.
BELL: Well, that doesn't matter. You're still an idiot.
BOFF: You're not in office.
AMOS: Mr. Chairman, let's go on discuss this
BELL: I think we need
TAM: I think we're done with this.
BELL: He's an idiot.
AMOS: No, Patrick.
BELL: He is and he's gonna get knocked in his head in a minute. [BELL raises his right hand in a fist, clenching a pen.]
LEVENT: Why, uh,
BOFF: Did you
LEVENT: Why, um,
BOFF: just say I was going to get knocked in the head in a minute?
BELL: I said you could.
BOFF: By whom?
BELL: By the Sheriff.
BOFF: By whom?
BELL: I don't know.
BOFF: I don't know, but I'm not the one who started calling anybody names here.
BELL: I know. You're
AMOS: Let's let Tom Brown bring it back
LEVENT: We can
LEVENT: Let's calm down.
BELL: How many times have you
BOFF: It will be the first time if you do.
AMOS: Next item
DERRER: Give Tom some time to bring back some ideas.
BROWN: The next item is a similar theme. Changes to the Unified Development Code. These changes are related to church buffers and it came out of the current moratorium we had on church buffers.
LEVENT: [Shakes his head.] Wow!
