Just used Cursor 2.0 to pit Composer, GPT 5, Haiku 4.5, and Grok Code against each other and implement my latest feature

Initial thoughts:
Composer is fast
Feels nice to not have to manage worktrees
Really like the unified UX to compare agents' outputs
Being able to reference files across agents/worktrees makes it much easier to take the parts you like from each agent and get the best output

Overall looks and feels really nice. Way less confusing than when background agents were introduced a few months ago

Don't know if this will be enough to win me over from CLIs for most of my work, but definitely see Cursor as my go-to when I want to run multiple background agents

With this update, it seems like Cursor has really refined how you can split up and manage parallel agents. Now I'm excited to see if they'll explore what a good UX looks like for comparing and potentially merging the best parts from each.

Definitely looking forward to test it out some more
