After being In lockdown, and with the club & festival scene pretty much non existent at the moment, an exhibition that evokes the experience of being in a club had us all sorts of giddy!

We both grew up in the 90’s, with rave culture - we had the Slammin vinyl record bags (as school bags), flyers on our bedroom wall, and tape packs of raves we weren’t quite old enough to go to. When we were finally old enough to go (or look old enough 😉) we met eachother at Fabric.

So this exhibition taking us through the history of electronic music, showcasing the people, fashion, art, technology and design that shaped something so important to us was a total dream!

There is a 3D show celebrating 50 years of #kraftwerk , an absolutely awesome spectacle of The Chemical Brothers live shows in a 3 dimensional experience by #smithandlyall and a 127 tune soundtrack selected by Laurent Garnier, that takes you through the Different zones.

If you love dance music, we can’t recommend this exhibition enough. #thedesignmuseum have put a number of measures in place to ensure your safety. Including prebook only, and half capacity. face coverings are compulsory at all times for 11+, & bring your own wired headphones to listen to the multimedia exhibits.

The exhibition runs until 14th February 2021, and is sold out until Sept. £16 weekdays £18 weekends.

It is recommended for 12+ and there is strobe lighting, and flashing lights. We took Em with us, and felt comfortable doing so as he has been in a club & festival environment.
