CANON G7X III | TEST VLOG | THIS CAMERA NEEDS ADDERALL - IT CAN'T FOCUS

Day 2 Testing out the Canon G7X III

After a so-so first day testing out the camera while out to dinner, I was hoping to get better focus out of day light conditions. Today took me to Orange County, CA from Hilton Head Island, SC.

This trip was a perfect way to test a new, non-intrusive, 4k camera on the road.

In the vlog footage you can see many times where it takes around 10 seconds for the camera to focus both near and far and bright and darker conditions. At one point later at night, the cameras autofocus just stopped working in all modes and I had to reboot the camera.

I've caught myself stopping what I was doing, just to capture what I was doing, in focus.

What I thought would be an non-intrusive step up from my cell phone, had me wanting to reach for my iphone XS many times. I actually had to because I only had one battery, which died half way though the day until I could pick up a second. So you can see for yourself, the difference between the iphone and the G7X III.
