In this video, I show you how to recreate Maurizio Sarri's 4-3-3 Napoli tactics in FIFA 23.

Often seen as the modern 'Total Football', Sarrismo is an extreme possession based system; where the players must play out from the back at all costs - even amongst an aggressive press from the opposition. They build on this by playing through the thirds and eventually relying on movement in behind from the front three in order to penetrate the defence.

Defensively, Sarrismo employs an extreme gegenpress. This gives the team the best chance of winning the ball back as quickly as possible - and therefore compliments the philosophy with the ball.
