Intro of the speaker:
Dr. Bipin Bihari Dash is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR), Odisha, India. He teaches English Literature, Communicative English, Business Communication Skills, and Professional English. He received an M.A. M. Phil. and Ph.D. Degree in English from Berhampur University, Utkal University, and Ravenshaw University, of Odisha, India respectively. In addition to this, he did his M.A. in Linguistics to his credit. He has contributed thirty research articles on English literature and language for different international Journals to his credit. He has presented many research papers in seminars and conferences. He is the author of four books, namely: Kiran Desai: A Postcolonial Diasporic Novelist, Professional English, A Study on English Phonetics, and An Introduction to Significance and Strategies for Effective Communication. He has also contributed seven chapters to edited books. His areas of interest are Indian English Literature, Postcolonial Studies, Phonetics, E.L.T, and Professional English.
