"Why is rape culture so prevalent in India?"
One rape was reported every 16 minutes in India .An average of nearly 90 rapes a day were reported in India, according to data from India's National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). The true figure is likely to be much higher , as many such crimes go unreported due to fear of reprisal, prevailing stigmas around victims and a lack of faith in police investigation.
When I conduct session on sexual harassment or women safety, so many women..start crying. They have faced incidents of Sexual harassment which they can't forget.
