Fender Super Reverb (1964)

Описание к видео Fender Super Reverb (1964)

The Fender Super Reverb 40-watt tube combo guitar amplifier was offered in a Black Panel finish between 1964 and 1967, although some early Silverface finished units still had Black Panel circuitry. Well-known for its scooped mids, the Super Reverb features the same design as the Fender Super, but with the addition of built-in reverb and tremolo effects as well as four 10" speakers. Famous Super Reverb players include Johnny Marr, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robben Ford, and Derek Trucks.
This amp is in very good condition considering its age (1964), it features two CTS Fender speakers, one from 1967 and one from 1969 and two Kendrick Black Frame speakers. The Transformers have been replaced by a new Fender one and a TAD. Cables are replaced, some holes in the chassis. The speaker grill and speaker wiring have been replaced in the 70's and tone stack and pots are 93% original. Board and elcos are serviced. Vibrato/Tremolo and Reverb also works, the footswitch is original but doesn't work but a new can be ordered. So considering the age of the amp this is a very good condition and completely checked and serviced. Even though it is not 100% original it is an amp for the player, ready for the stage or studio and still kicks ass after 59 years.
