The CN Tower is a renowned communications and observation tower located in downtown Toronto, Canada. Standing at 553.3 meters (1,815 feet), it was the world's tallest free-standing structure and tower for 34 years until 2010, when it was surpassed by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Still, it remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere and a major icon of Toronto's skyline.
