I used this template before for a resin piece and I wanted to use it again but for an acrylic pour. The resin piece was beautiful, and I really like the form and symmetry this template brings. I also love the Primary elements colors and wanted to use them again. I have had bleeding problems in the past and so I kept them thick to try to limit this - I did want some blending where they met of course - that is what acrylic pouring is all about after all. The thick paint has a downside though and I did get a bit of cracking and the center went a bit washed out and overmixed anyway. So I just resined it purple at the end. This type of template pour is great for controlling colors if they tend to run away and you have lots more say than usual in where everything ends up.

Resin is Art Coat from Stone Coat countertops.

Photographing the finished piece was a challenge. The colors appear as they do in the finished video but every still I took was very dark and flat. Very strange, but I did my best.
