Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and the opposition RJD, of their respective legislators amid speculation that the ruling NDA coalition in the state is headed for a split. The Congress has resolved to support the new formation that comes into being if Nitish Kumar breaks away from the BJP. The JD(U) is underplaying the impact of the exit of RCP Singh and insisted that “all is well” with ally BJP. However, Nitish Kumar has gradually distanced himself from the saffron party, evident from his frequent absences at events hosted by the Centre.
