This Park Surprised Us 🫢 | Theodore Roosevelt National Park | Boondocking & Things to Do

Описание к видео This Park Surprised Us 🫢 | Theodore Roosevelt National Park | Boondocking & Things to Do

This time we’re boondocking outside of Theodore Roosevelt National Park 🏕️ What is boondocking? Well, it’s just camping in our RV without any electricity, water, or sewer hook ups. Pack it in, pack it out! 🙂

This spot is approximately 15 minutes (~5.5 miles) west of the South Unit Visitor Center and the nearby town of Medora, North Dakota 🏫

There are plenty of campgrounds and RV parks in Medora if you’re interested in visiting this national park without boondocking! ⛺️

With a couple of days at Theodore Roosevelt NP, here are our MUST-DOs:
🥾 Painted Canyon Trail, 4.3 miles
💨 Wind Canyon Trail, 0.3 miles
🦬 Boicourt Overlook
🐴 Buck Hill Overlook
🏠 South Unit Visitor Center: Maltese Cross Cabin & historical museum
🐿️ Prairie dog metropolis!

ABOUT US 👋😄

We’re Gracen and Austin and we’re in our twenties living on the road full time. We share an RV with our dog, Bae, and our orange cat, Keke. This lifestyle definitely keeps you on your toes—and we’re excited to live it and share it with you as we roll along! With an RV, we’re able to see so many beautiful places while having our home and our pets with us.

We love crossing national parks off our list, hiking, kayaking, photography, and pretty much anything outdoors! Follow along if you like these things too and we can be friends!
