Margie was about 15 when this track was recorded and originally released on Coed 601, b/w "Sad Illusion". It was the only single she was to release under this name and with this group.
It took some determined Internet research on my part, but I discovered that Margie is actually Marge Raymond and has had quite an interesting career.
Instead of my trying to explain it all, I will point the way to her MySpace sites, where she goes into great detail about the acts she's worked with:
Just tgo to MySpace and then type "Marge Raymond" in the "people" search field and you should get two choices of sites - one is "Marge Raymond" and the other for her music/band site "MargeRaymondFlame". She discusses this song and The Formations, as well.
She also contacted me & one of the things she told me was that the sole female backing vocalist on this track was Cindy Birdsong (of Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles & later The Supremes).
