On 27 January, at the Kamala Harris "Get The Vote Out" event in Las Vegas, two members of the Muslim community wearing hijabs were not allowed in by campaign officials.
According to the Nevadans for Palestinian Liberation account on X, both women confirmed their attendance at the event and were given wristbands upon checking in, but were refused entrance as they waited in line.
Since the war in Gaza, several of Joe Biden’s presidential campaigns have been disrupted by protestors heckling and shouting comments like "Genocide Joe."
Officials told NBC News that volunteers at events are asked to keep an eye out for potential protesters, but they are not able to stop them from attending.
