How to make this feel Realistic without Using your own pets:
I really do recommend LittleMssams Mods to work with this well.
MY PETS MOD: You can have as many Pets as you like and they do not take up space in your household!
FOSTER FAMILY MOD: You could make it into a rehoming centre using this mod and again they don't up any space in your household!
HIGHLY Recommend her Lockable doors mod becuase there are more options to be able to lock for specific pets/sims I.e lock for dogs only / cats only / pets only etc. Much easier that way!

What is included in this build?
Being a Kennels and Cattery there are several places for dogs/cats to stay with all their needs, other then walking for dogs, taken cared of in their own little space.
A Play Pen for the doggies including a swimming pool and training equiment is located near the kennels.
A Grooming Palour is available for those messy dogs and even cats if you wish to give them a bath. (And pretned hair cut cuz we can't do that for real sadly)
A fully functional veterinary Clinic, which if this was a vet clinic rather then a residential lot you could use it for that. (I am not sure if you can treat foster pets or my pets on this lot if residential .)
Several toilets and even showers available for staff and members of the public.
A small but cozy Staff room in the basement with closed off entreance so lockable for staff/your sims only.
A small seeming but quite spacious fully funrinished one bedroom house in the basement, with chances of expanding.

Lot Name: Boardin Kennels & Cattery (As mentioned above could be many things. I.e A Rehoming/Rescue Centre)

Disclamier - This does go quite well with my career but bear in mind the career is still a rabbit hole only career sadly. But you could gain skills needed for that job here and make it seem a little more realistic, if you'd all like a another version of the career to go with this either being boarding kennels or Rehoming/Rescue Centre let me know in the comments here or on the youtube videos :)
