Amidst the chaos of Boris Johnson’s final departure from parliament and the arrest and release of Nicola Sturgeon, – Andrew Marr is optimistic that, unlike the United States, we live in a “parliamentary democracy”, and it IS working.

The exit of Boris Johnson and his supporters will trigger three by-elections. Will Keir Starmer seize this opportunity for Labour to team up with the Liberal Democrats to create a new “left liberal hegemony” that could change the electoral system and alter our political landscape?
