Recently, I teamed up with a photographer to create a short documentary. As a cinematographer, I’m usually more focused on filmmaking than photography, but this project was different. With a compelling character and a powerful story, it was impossible to pass up. In this video, I share how the worlds of cinematography and photography merged to tell a unique narrative.

The result was a short doc that you can find on my channel. It’s also been submitted to a few festivals and even aired on Jamaican national TV, receiving a great response.

In this interview, I sit down with Kreyg for a spontaneous discussion about the filmmaking process. We dive into the connections between photography and filmmaking, exploring some elements that didn’t make it into the final cut.
