Quest For The Stanley Cup Episode 6 (2019)

The penultimate episode of the seven-episode series heads to St. Louis for Games 3 and 4. Episode six takes viewers inside the home life of Blues goalie Jordan Binnington with girlfriend Christine Prosperi; catches up with Bruins defenseman Torey Krug before Game 4 and following his four-point performance in Game 3; and tags along with Blues head coach Craig Berube to the St. Louis Cardinals-Chicago Cubs baseball game.

The cameras also capture the Blues and the Bruins as they set aside the intensity of the Stanley Cup Final to pay special visits with two superfans. Laila Anderson has become a fixture at Blues Playoff games, inspiring her hometown team in her battle against a rare immune disorder. Bruins devotee Justin Garrels is back on his feet after surviving a serious motorcycle accident to travel to St. Louis with his wife, Shana, for an awe-inspiring meeting with the team.

The episode turns to the ice for Game 3 and the Bruins’ seven-goal performance in a 7-2 win in St. Louis’s first Stanley Cup Final home game in 49 years. In Game 4, the Blues roar back led by two goals from center Ryan O’Reilly, his first career multi-goal game performance in the postseason, and Binnington’s 21 saves to even the series.
