Here's another classic head to head Com-bat Rise of the Triad (ROTT) match with my brother Clem. We have no affiliation with the makers of the Classic ROTT and the newly revamped, ROTT, which came out in 2013, but you can find those awesome games at Apogee: http://www.apogeesoftware.com/products

In this match, there were plenty of gibs, as usual, and I explain some of the classic ROTT weapons, such as the Heat Seeker, Drunk Missle, Split Missle, Dark Staff, and more.

We play classic com-bat ROTT using the setting for low gravity, so it's easier to get around and we also use the “Randomize Weapons” feature. In classic com-bat ROTT, weapons will be in the places we expect, but using that setting, they are always different, which mixes up the classic com-bat ROTT gameplay and keeps it exciting.

The main thing I like about Classic Com-bat ROTT for a multiplayer game is that, for the most part, the weapons are quite evenly matched. Basically, the easy to use, heat-seeking guns, known as “No Skill” weapons are easier to use, but aren't as powerful, while others are just the opposite.
