In this Physics video in Hindi on Quantum mechanics for B.Sc. we derived the equation for the momentum of photon. The formula for the photon momentum is the ratio of Planck's constant to the wavelength of the photon. We derived the formula with the help of The Theory of Special Relativity.

The Photoelectric Effect tells us that light behaves like particle and the energy of each particle is Planck's constant times the frequency of the photon. If photon is a particle, it must have momentum.
