‘Neil is trying very hard but achieving very little’ were the words said by the teacher of Former SAS officer, award winning entrepreneur and record breaking adventure Neil Laughton! How wrong their assessment was for what Neil had in store!

Neil did not have an easy start in life with his early years being characterised by poverty and failure but with his determination and grit he was able to turn it around and go on to achieve countless ‘firsts’ and prove why he is very deserving of the title of ‘Inspirational speaker!’

Here are just a few topic points I discussed with Neil to get the measure of quite how much he has achieved!

Served in the UK Special Forces for 12 years
Completing the ‘Explorers grand slam’ (Climbing the 7 summits and reaching both the north and the South Pole)
Safety officer for when @Beargrylls flew a paramotor over Mt Everest (Neil also climbed Mt Everest with Bear Grylls)
Flying the worlds first road legal car from London to Timbuktu!!
Founded a construction company which grew to £40 million before being sold to a FTSE 100 company
First person to circumnavigate the UK and Ireland on a jet ski
Guinness world records for riding penny farthings with ‘no hands’ and hosting the worlds highest black tie dinner party

..... In terms of achievement successes, it was like I was interviewing 8 people all rolled into one!
