Adding NDVI Pasture Analytics with AI in Streamlit App

Описание к видео Adding NDVI Pasture Analytics with AI in Streamlit App

As a follow up to my last post where I quickly spun up an interactive NDVI Dashboard to look at pasture health data - In this video I add in more functionality including
a "ranch average" Mean NDVI line which takes the average of all pastures at that point in time to help give some perspective on how good or poor a pasture is looking
a bunch more metrics to look at NDVI values over time
a map showing each pasture and color coding it by the mean NDVI value at that point in time.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
I don't think this app is that practical at the moment, but some things i'm thinking about are:
API with Google Earth Engine to pull in new sentinel-2 data when its available?
Better analytics
Cut out Trees and Wetlands to make it more reflective of the pasture

The video discusses the development of a Streamlit app that analyzes NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) data from pastures at a ranch. The presenter showcases improvements made to the app, allowing users to toggle between different pasture fields and visualize their performance over time, specifically from early 2023 to late 2024. Key features include displaying average NDVI values, identifying peak health periods for specific pastures, and comparing trends between years, particularly noting the impact of drought in 2023. The app also aims to incorporate real-time imagery updates and interactive mapping capabilities using GeoJSON files. Despite some technical challenges with map integration and data visualization, the presenter expresses enthusiasm about the potential of this tool for pasture management analysis. Overall, the video highlights both the functionality achieved so far and areas for further enhancement in visualizing pasture health data effectively.
