#dragonballz #dbz is one of the most popular #anime in history around the world. Dragonball Z can be credited as a big part along with Pokemon with ushering in the wave of anime in the late 90s and early 2000s which made japanese animate a staple in American culture and entertainment. In the United States there is a constantly raging debate as to which studio produced a better dub for Dragonball Z. Originally #funimation contracted Ocean Studios to provide voice actors, but once Funimation decided to start doing the dub in house at the beginning of the Frieza saga, their own actors took over and have voiced the English dubs in North America since. Characters like #piccolo #vegeta and even #goku himself saw noticeable changes in their voices and those differences have grown over time. Vegeta and Piccolo have had praise and criticisms for each of the dubs but for different reasons. Goku's Funimation voice actor seems to be the most popular though. #dragonball
